Dinner is served

Tonight, instead of sitting around watching a movie, Nadine and I spent a couple of hours volunteering at the Bainbridge Presbyterian Church, as they held their Harvest Meal. (Basically, an early Thanksgiving feast.) We brought food to tables, and filled serving bowls and plates as waves of little old folks wandered into the church. We weren't able to stay for the entire evening, but managed to serve more than 150 during our two hours on shift. Pretty cool. Very appreciative church volunteer staff. We were even given meals to go. 

A rather worthwhile way to spend a few hours of your day.
